Keeping the interior of your Lexus clean is essential. However, because these are high end vehicles which are made with premium materials and accessories, using the wrong cleaning solution can cause irreversible damage. Cleaning the Seats and Trim

Eliminating Screen Fingerprints
Most Lexus models today come with digital display screens, some of which are activated by touch. These displays are sensitive and you should never use cleaners which are ammonia based, as they can ruin the surface. The best types of cleaners to use are those designed for glass.
You will also want to use a microfiber style cloth which is soft and free of lint. These can be purchased in most auto parts shops, and you’ll just spray your cleaner onto them and then wipe down the screens. Do not squirt the spray directly onto the surface, otherwise the cleaner might get into unwanted places such as the seams or cracks which are situated near the control buttons. Furthermore, if you accidentally drop or place your microfiber cloth on the floor, do not use it to clean the display screens, as any particles which were picked up from the floor might scratch it.
Dealing with Carpet Spills
When liquid spills onto your Lexus carpet, whether it is coffee, soda, wine, juice, milk or other substances, the primary rule is to never allow this liquid to dry, because it is the drying process which causes staining. The first thing you’ll need to do is blot the spill gently using a cloth which is absorbent. Next, apply dish soap using a towel which is soft, but be sure this soap contains no ammonia. Lower the passenger and driver side windows and start by cleaning the edges at the top before cleaning downward. However, avoid washing the windows in sunlight, since it will make the cleaner dry too fast which in turn will lead to streaking.
